3 years agoChauncey Billups is rumored to be named the next head coach of the Portland Trail Blazers. The 44-year-old played nearly two decades but made his mark as a member of the Detroit Pistons, where he helped the team capture an NBA title back in 2004. He also served as an assistant to Ty Lue in Los Angeles this season and will be tasked with keeping Damian Lillard, who has reportedly grown unhappy with the organization as of late, in Portland. Billups has already had talks with the star point guard over the last few weeks, but his future remains uncertain as he looks to play for a contender.
