3 years agoLanto Griffin made the cut at the Travelers Championship then proceeded to just hover around 70th place all weekend. He did not perform well at all after a Friday 67 helped him see Saturday. Even at the US Open, Griffin missed too many shots which caused some crooked rounds. That did not happen as much at the Travelers and this trend must continue if Griffin expects to make more cuts. Can he contend? No. Too many times his shots around the green end up wayward or worse. He ranks 173rd at -1.99 strokes gained in that metric. If his putter is very good though, Griffin could surprise a bit at least. That gives him a shred of DFS upside. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
