3 years agoCleveland Cavaliers guard Collin Sexton is reportedly seeking a max extension from the organization this summer. It sounds like instead, the Cavs can pick up Sexton's team option and he would still be a restricted free agent next summer. Although, Sexton might be part of the Cavs long-term plans, according to Chris Fedor. Honestly, it all seems dependent on how much Sexton wants in terms of salary. Cleveland has the third overall pick in the upcoming NBA Draft. Most likely either Jalen Green or Jalen Suggs will be available at that spot. At this point, a trade might be the best choice for both sides, but we'll see how this story develops over the offseason.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
