It's Wednesday! Apologies for not having an article yesterday -- I needed a writing break.
Three games today. The Sky face the Wings. The Lynx visit the Mercury. And the night is capped off by the Aces facing the Sparks.
In this article, I'll be providing you with some daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 6/30/21. These lineups picks will range from elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. Want to talk more about the WNBA? I'm always available on Twitter and always down to discuss women's basketball: @juscarts.

WNBA DFS Lineup Picks
I felt like throwing it back to the old way of doing my WNBA articles today, where I mention six players I'm interested in playing and talk about just those three. I'm...not sure why I decided to switch things back up. Maybe just because writing the same article every day can get weird.
Anyway, here are some picks.
Guard: Brittney Sykes (Los Angeles Sparks) - vs Aces - DK: $8,200, FD: $6,500
Sykes is on a nice run right now, scoring at least 10 points in five consecutive games. Add in her steals and blocks defensively plus the fact she always sprinkles in some rebounds and assists and you get a really strong floor play here. Sykes isn't going to have some explosive game, but she can consistently get you fantasy numbers in the high 20s or low 30s, which is solid.
Guard: Kahleah Copper (Chicago Sky) - @ Wings - DK: $7,800, FD: $5,400
The first part of our "load up on Sky players against the Wings" picks is guard Kahleah Copper.
The Wings defense has improved lately, as they now have the sixth-best defensive rating in the league. But this feels like a matchup where the Sky should be able to get out on the run quickly and make some things happen.
Copper has scored at least 10 points in all but three games this year. Her shooting percentage is down from last year, but she's still averaging 13.9 points and 4.9 rebounds per game.
Guard: Layshia Clarendon (Minnesota Lynx) - @ Mercury - DK: $6,500, FD: $5,200
The Lynx are a little shorthanded right now, which is why Layshia Clarendon played 37 minutes against the Aces last game. In that one, she scored 20 points and added seven assists, two rebounds, and a steal.
Crystal Dangerfield is struggling after winning Rookie of the Year last season and the Lynx have really relied on Clarendon's veteran talent at the one. Based on projected volume and the fact that the Mercury backcourt isn't really known for its defensive prowess, I'm going to have a lot of Lay in my lineups tonight. Expect them to play a ton of minutes again.
Forward: A'ja Wilson (Las Vegas Aces) - @ Sparks - DK: $11,300, FD: $8,800
The Sparks are still without the Ogwumikes, so some combination of Amanda Zahui B., Nia Coffey, and...uhh, Lauren Cox if she's cleared to play after being signed yesterday?...will try to stop the Aces frontcourt.
This'll be a disaster for the Sparks.
Wilson and teammate Liz Cambage are both strong plays, but I lean Wilson because of her consistency. She's scored 17 or more points in four of the past five games. She usually going to grab a bunch of rebounds. Record some steals. Block some shots. Finish with at least 30 fantasy points. There are times she misses that mark, but I don't really see this being a game where that happens.
Forward: Candace Parker (Chicago Sky) - @ Wings - DK: $9,900, FD: $8,100
Alright, back to the Sky/Wings game.
Parker isn't necessarily a slam dunk play as the Wings have some interesting options to throw at her defensively at the four in Satou Sabally and Kayla Thornton, but as long as Parker's DFS salary remains where it is, I think you've got to have some exposure to her each game for the upside.
Parker is coming off her worst game of the season, with six points, four rebounds, and no assists against the Sun in a game where the whole Chicago team looked shook. But before that, she put up consecutive double-doubles, plus averaged five assists per game in those two outings. Parker has the ability to do pretty much everything on the floor for this Chicago team. For that reason, I want to keep her in my linueps.
Forward: Ruthy Hebard (Chicago Sky) - @ Wings - DK: $6,300, FD: $5,000
If you asked me before the season who would be the best non-CP3 big in Chicago, I wouldn't have thought Ruthy Hebard. But at this point, she's playing some really good basketball. The numbers themselves aren't huge, but she's doing enough to usually hit the 20-point mark in fantasy scoring, which she's done in three of the last four games.
Hebard's a good value play here. Dallas doesn't have the best center situation, so Hebard should have an efficient night on the interior, likely shooting something like 4-for-6 from the floor, maybe with a free throw or two added in. This should be one of her better rebounding games, plus she usually records at least one steal per game and often blocks a shot. Overall, Hebard should provide solid fantasy value.
