Kyle Seager Hits Two-Run Homer Wednesday
3 years agoSeattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager hit a two-run homer Wednesday in going 2-for-5 against the Toronto Blue Jays. He singled and struck out in his other four at-bats. It was his 14th home run of the season. After a strong April in which he produced a .250/.307/.471 slash line, Seager has cooled considerably, bringing his OPS down to .698 for the year. This is his first home run since June 13, and his first multi-hit game since June 19. Fantasy managers will have to hope this is the beginning of a hot streak, though it would be understandable if many have moved on, especially in shallower formats.
