3 years agoHarold Varner III did not see Saturday at the Rocket Mortgage Classic last week at one of the easier tournaments of the summer. That does not bode well for the John Deere Classic. Even if Varner III gets to the weekend, he has not finished in the top-30 since the RBC Heritage Classic in April (t-2nd). The problem is trying to figure out which golfers are going to snap out of some pretty significant slumps. The RBC is also the last time Varner III shot four rounds in the 60's. That has been a pretty rare event for him on tour. It is not too likely to expect that this week either. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
