IEM Cologne 2021 Play-In (BO3)

Best of 3

  • G2 vs. Complexity
  • Virtus.Pro (-110) vs. BIG (-125)
  • FURIA vs. Vitality (-175)
  • Natus Vincere vs.  Renegades

Captain Plays

S1mple is back on this Thursday slate and he looks locked in and ready to go as he has been in good form over the last 36 maps that he has played. He is sporting a 1.40 K/D ratio during that timeframe and has a .82 kill per round rate while having a .59 death per round rate. S1mple has managed to go plus in 13 straight matches and is worth paying up for as he has one fo the best floors and ceilings of any CSGO player on this slate.

ZywOo has been in elite form over his last 11 maps played as he has a 1.47 K/D ratio and has a .81 kill per round rate while having a low death per round rate of just .55. ZywOo carries a hefty price tag but his ceiling is almost unmatched which makes him an ideal target for both tournament and cash game lineups. When looking at the most recent matches that he has played, he has managed to go even or plus in every match this month while also eclipsing the double-digit plus mark in four out of five matches.

Other captain plays in order of preference: XANTARES, Jame

Value Plays

syrsoN is definitely under-priced and this is a great spot to target him. He leads the BIG squad with a 1.14 K/D ratio over the last 39 maps played and he has a .69 kill per round rate while having a .61 death per round rate during that stretch of games. He has been in good form as he has managed to go plus in four out of his last five matches played and could be used in the captain spot if needing to save some salary.

blameFis another under-priced player that should be considered in all formats. He has produced a 1.27 K/D ratio over his last 19 maps played and has a .75 kill per round rate while having a low .59 death per round rate. BlameF has been in good form as he has gone plus in four out of the last five matches played and he has also managed to go +10 or greater in those four matches.

Other value plays in order of preference: tabseN, jks, shox, arT, Perfecto

Top Stacks / Team Picks

BIG has been on a little bit of a hot streak over their last months' worth of games played as they have gone 24-17 over their last 41 maps played. During that stretch, they have generated a team K/D ratio of  1.01 which is pretty solid considering that their opponent, Virtus.Pro, has gone 4-9 over their last 13 maps played and is sporting a team K/D ratio of just .93. BIG has won five out of the last six matches that they have played and holds the map advantage as they have a higher winning percentage on five of the seven playable maps. The primary targets from this squad are XANTARES, sysron, and tabsen as they have all been in very good form over the last 41 maps played by having K/D ratios above 1 during that stretch.

Other Stacks:  Vitality, Natus Vincere
