3 years agoLos Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard (knee) underwent successful surgery on Tuesday. However, he doesn't have a return date, and it's also possible, if not likely, that he begins the 2021-22 campaign on the injured list. The veteran partially tore his right ACL during Game 4 of the postseason meeting against the Utah Jazz and was subsequently missing during the Western Conference Finals against the Phoenix Suns. The 30-year-old averaged 24.8 points, 6.5 boards, 5.2 assists, and 1.6 steals last season. Although he has been a reliable contributor, when healthy, his frequent absences over the years have significantly lowered his fantasy ceiling. Leonard has a $36 million player option this offseason, but with the recent update regarding his health, some teams may not be willing to pay the hefty sum needed to acquire his services.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
