3 years agoSeattle Mariners relief pitcher Paul Sewald has worked his way from non-roster invitee all the way to a key member of the bullpen this season with his excellent play, but Tuesday was his second straight difficult outing after 19 straight without allowing an earned run. Sewald allowed two runs on two hits to the Colorado Rockies in the eighth inning while striking out one batter, but he was fortunate that the Mariners had enough of a cushion to maintain the lead. Sewald should hold his role despite these recent hiccups, but fantasy managers will want to stay tuned to see if he can right the ship.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
