3 years agoThe Pelicans plan to trade guard Eric Bledsoe and center Steven Adams to Memphis in exchange for Jonas Valanciunas. In addition, the Grizzlies will receive the 10th overall selection in Thursday's NBA Draft, while New Orleans will acquire the 17th overall pick. The deal will not become official until August 6. However, the move creates cap space for the birds, who will have the financial flexibility to go after a big-name free agent or potentially match any offer for restricted free agent Lonzo Ball. Although Bledsoe's best days were in Phoenix, he still has upside on the offensive end.
