3 years agoCenter Steven Adams has been traded to the Memphis Grizzlies. Along with Adams, Eric Bledsoe and the 10th overall pick in Thursday's NBA Draft will follow, while the Grizzlies will send Jonas Valanciunas and the 2021 17th selection back in return. However, the deal won't become official until August 6, the first day of free agency. Adams is coming off one of the worst seasons of his career, finishing the 2020-21 campaign by averaging 8.9 boards and 7.6 points in addition to battling a foot injury that relegated the big man to only 58 games. The 28-year-old will have competition for minutes with the Grizzlies. However, he has streaming appeal if given a more substantial role sometime throughout the year.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
