Bruce Brown Receives Qualifying Offer
3 years agoBrooklyn Nets guard Bruce Brown received a qualifying offer from the team on Wednesday, making him a restricted free agent. The designation allows Brooklyn to potentially match offers from other teams, although it will cost nearly $5 million to retain his services. While Brown had flashes of efficiency during the occasional start throughout the season, his averages of 8.8 points and 5.4 rebounds likely won't do much for fantasy managers. If he remains with the Nets, his role probably won't change, especially if James Harden and Kyrie Irving stay healthy and on the floor.
