The move will keep him with the team through the 2025-26 season, and it comes after the 31-year-old averaged 21.5 points, 7.1 assists, and 6.9 boards throughout 52 games last season. He is also a nightmare on the defensive end, especially after logging 2.1 steals per game last year. Still, his inability to remain healthy and poor percentage from deep are two areas that are in desperate need of improvement. Nonetheless, managers should consider Butler a top-25 fantasy option, with the potential for higher if he can remain on the court moving ahead.
