3 years agoToronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette (shin) is not in the lineup on Wednesday night due to an issue with his shin, according to Kaitlyn McGrath of The Athletic. McGrath reports that Bichette is dealing with shin contusions, and was feeling sore after Tuesday's doubleheader. Bichette is currently being considered day-to-day, and manager Charlie Montoyo said that the team does not believe this issue will require a stint on the injured list. With Bichette out Wednesday, Marcus Semien is getting the start at shortstop while Breyvic Valera enters the lineup at second base and is batting eighth in the order.
