3 years agoDetroit Tigers first baseman/designated hitter Miguel Cabrera is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Baltimore Orioles. There is no injury, but Tigers manager A.J. Hinch said he wants to give Cabrera the day off after playing the whole game at first base last night. Cabrera is slashing .255/.315/.392 with 12 HRs, 51 RBI, and 39 runs over 90 games this season. After going deep in Wednesday's game, he is now at 499 career home runs. He doesn't have much value in any fantasy league, providing little power and an unspectacular batting average.--Spencer Seguin - RotoBaller
