3 years agoDetroit Tigers pitcher Casey Mize's next start will come on Tuesday at home against the Los Angeles Angels. Per a tweet from The Athletic's Cody Stavenhagen, the Tigers will pitch Mize and fellow starters Matt Manning and Tarik Skubal on extended rest from here on out this season. Mize has pitched to a 3.66 ERA, a 5.14 FIP, 94 strikeouts and, 32 walks in 120.1 innings this season. The 24-year-old should have some streaming upside against an Angels team that has scored the third-fewest runs in the league in the second half and is currently without Mike Trout and Anthony Rendon.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
