3 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Adbert Alzolay (hamstring) exited Friday's matchup against the Miami Marlins. The 26-year-old righty didn't last long, accruing just over one inning of work while allowing six runs on five hits before prematurely leaving because of left hamstring tightness. Nonetheless, it's unlikely anyone will miss him if he lands on the injured list, primarily since he is currently sitting on a horrendous 4-12 record and a 4.71 ERA throughout 20 starts this season.
