Tom Murphy Hits Two-Run Shot
3 years agoSeattle Mariners catcher Tom Murphy has not received as much playing time since the call-up of Cal Raleigh, but he made the start Friday against the Toronto Blue Jays and went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run. It was his ninth long ball of the season, and came off of the lefty Robbie Ray. Murphy has performed quite well over his last 15 games, with a solid .257/.395/.457 slash line in that time, but he still isn't on the field enough to warrant any fantasy attention.
