3 years agoSeattle Mariners relief pitcher Diego Castillo earned his fifth hold of the season Tuesday, allowing one hit and striking out one batter in his inning of work against the Texas Rangers. It was a solid outing for Castillo, but fantasy managers will be quick to note that Castillo pitched the eighth inning, setting up for apparent closer Paul Sewald. Castillo has been excellent since coming over from Tampa Bay, but it appears that he will not be the primary option for saves, having collected just one in his Seattle tenure.
