3 years agoLee Westwood had a pretty solid 54 holes at The Northern Trust. Then Sunday came, and again the game showed signs of cracks. Before anyone knew it, Westwood was out of contention again. The result was okay but a tied for 27th could have easily been a top 10 or 15 with a few more putts made. It was not the greens as they were slow. It was Westwood just missing. The previous five tournaments have seen varying forms of this pattern. Most commonly, the English golfer's final 18 is just not anywhere near good enough. If one expects to win, one cannot wish it, they have to do it. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
