3 years agoMonday was not great for Sam Burns, but it was a challenging time when the course began to get warm and muggy. Finishing the last 10 holes at plus-four was rough, as Burns missed greens with increasing frequency. Expect less of that at Caves Valley, as the American will likely bounce back. He always tends to in this situation. After a nightmare at The Open, he nearly won the FedEx, so keep this in mind. Burns putts too well with 0.52 strokes gained and ranks fourth in birdies at 4.39 per round. He only hit half the greens in regulation on Monday, which is far from his normal 67.62%. Expect him to be lower on odds tables, too. Sleeping on him could prove costly.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
