3 years agoSeattle Mariners catcher Luis Torrens had a nice game against the Oakland Athletics Tuesday, going 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI, and a run scored. While eligible at catcher, Torrens is garnering nearly every-day at-bats at designated hitter. He's produced a .706 OPS with 14 homers in 251 at-bats this season, so while he wouldn't have equity in single-catcher leagues, he might make a good add for a power-desperate fantasy manager in a two-catcher format.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
