3 years agoXander Schauffele won the gold medal and then it seemed things got difficult. He finished outside the top-40 in two of the last three tournaments. Last week, while everyone was making birdies over the weekend, Schauffele shot above par at the BMW Championship. The Maryland golf course just played games with the American. He started well on the Sunday with three early birdies and then struggled to a 71 including a bogey on 18. That is the type of struggle Schauffele has endured since winning the gold medal in Tokyo.
