A.J. Pollock On The Bench On Friday
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder A.J. Pollock isn't starting on Friday for a matchup with the San Francisco Giants and right-hander Anthony DeSclafani. Pollock is hitting .296 with a .352 on-base percentage, 16 home runs, and nine stolen bases in 383 plate appearances this season. The Dodgers are starting Chris Taylor, Cody Bellinger, and Mookie Betts from left to right in the outfield against San Francisco. Pollock has been extremely productive when he's been in the lineup, but Los Angeles arguably has baseball's deepest lineup so the veteran outfielder might not start every day. It's a situation worth monitoring down the stretch.
