3 years agoTalor Gooch did not have a good FedEx Cup playoffs, as the final three tournaments resulted in him finishing outside the top 30. He even missed the cut at the Wyndham Championship. He can make birdies, though, averaging 3.8,which was good for 75th on tour. There are weekends where Gooch can make four to six birdies a round. The problem has been the second round lately, where he just cannot shoot for a low enough score. That will be needed this week at Scottsdale. With 15- to 18-under par being close to a winning number, Gooch has something he can aim for and possibly get closer than expected.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
