Bo Bichette Joins 25-Home Run Club
3 years agoToronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette paced the offense on Wednesday by driving in five runs to help his club defeat the Rays 6-3 in the series finale. He got the scoring started early by homering off Michael Wacha in the first inning for a three-run shot before adding a sac fly and an RBI single to finish the contest going 2-for-5. The 23-year-old is having an outstanding first full season in the majors with 25 HR, 111 runs, 93 RBI, 22 SB, and a .293 BA in 143 games. Managers should continue to ride his five-category production the rest of the way as we close in on the season's end.
