Drew Steckenrider Saves 11th Game
3 years agoSeattle Mariners relief pitcher Drew Steckenrider saved his 11th game of the season Wednesday, throwing a scoreless inning with one hit allowed and one strikeout against the Oakland Athletics. Steckenrider was filling in for Paul Sewald, who had thrown in three straight games, but Steckenrider now has the upper hand in total saves. There's no locked-in option here, but Steckenrider may be able to help a desperate fantasy manager over the past few weeks. He has excellent ratios with a 2.17 ERA and 1.03 WHIP.
