3 years agoAtlanta Hawks power forwards Danilo Gallinari (rest) and Solomon Hill (rest) have both been held out of action for Wednesday's preseason contest against the Cavaliers. Head coach Nate McMillan made the call to focus on younger players for the early-season warmup contest, allowing his veterans to get some rest. John Collins draws the start at the four, with the depth behind him relatively thin; Jalen Johnson stands to get increased run after playing 12 minutes in the preseason opener. Of the two, Gallinari is the more viable season-long commodity, particularly after shooting 42.1 percent from behind the arc after the All-Star break last season.--Jesse Borek
