3 years agoToronto Raptors shooting guard Gary Trent Jr. is on track to play in Thursday's preseason game vs. the 76ers after a sore quad forced him to miss the opener. Trent, 22, is one of the more exciting upside fantasy cogs heading into the 2021-22 year amidst a new-look Raptors group that seeks scoring punch. While Trent did shoot just 39.5 percent over his final 17 games with Toronto last year, his scoring average rose to 16.2 PPG. Knocking down an average of 2.8 triples per contest last year in his first taste of starting on a full-time basis, Trent boasts terrific upside in category formats, especially when considering his 1.1 SPG average upon his arrival in Toronto.--Jesse Borek
