3 years agoHouston Rockets guard Eric Gordon (ankle) won't suit up for Thursday's preseason contest. This isn't shocking considering his injury history and it's a meaningless game. The veteran guard is going to have more competition than years prior. Kevin Porter Jr. and Jalen Green have already been named the starters. That means, Gordon will compete with Jae'Sean Tate for minutes off the bench. Gordon probably won't have 12-team fantasy value to begin the season. The injury history is always a concern and he's a veteran player on a rebuilding roster. There should be plenty of DNPs for Gordon while in Houston this season.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
