Derrick Rose Suffers Ankle Injury On Saturday
3 years agoNew York Knicks guard Derrick Rose (ankle) did not return to Saturday's preseason clash against the Wizards. The former MVP began experiencing pain in his left ankle and was observed speaking with trainers during the fourth quarter. He subsequently went back to the locker room and wasn't seen again for the contest's duration. Before the veteran's premature exit, he had played well, posting 15 points, eight assists, and two steals while going a perfect 3-for-3 from deep throughout 19 minutes of work. It's no secret that head coach Tom Thibodeau has given plenty of minutes to his players during the preseason, but the 33-year-old may need to tone things down a bit heading toward the regular season. Fortunately, the injury doesn't appear to be anything serious at the moment. However, it's still worth keeping an eye on, especially for the fantasy managers who haven't drafted ahead of the 2021-22 campaign.
