3 years agoAtlanta Hawks center Gorgui Dieng (hand) exited Saturday's preseason win over the Memphis Grizzlies. The veteran suffered a sprained right hand and didn't return. Normally, Dieng's ailments over the years haven't impacted fantasy managers much. Yet, with Clint Capela (Achilles) and Onyeka Okongwu (shoulder) expected to miss time during the regular season, the veteran was projected to see an increased role early on. The team will likely provide an update on his health ahead of its next exhibition against Miami. However, if Dieng misses time moving forward, it may force John Collins to get some run in the middle, while Danilo Gallinari could see an uptick in minutes at the four.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
