3 years agoSan Francisco Giants manager Gabe Kapler said Tuesday that he expects his full bullpen and most starters to be fresh and available for Thursday's NLDS Game 5 against the Dodgers. Logan Webb will get the start after being fully rested, and despite using eight pitchers in Tuesday's NLDS Game 4 loss, Kapler said he expects to have all of his relievers ready to go if need be. Further, Kapler mentioned that the Giants' Game 2 and 3 starters may be available as well. "You've got Webb with a full slate, Gausman with a full slate. I don't think using Alex Wood at some point in the game would be completely out of the question". In a must-win game against their division rivals, it seems that the Giants are prepared to do whatever it takes to win.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
