3 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans center Jonas Valanciunas has signed a two-year extension with the organization. He was acquired in late July in a deal that sent Steven Adams to Memphis. Valanciunas is coming off a career season in Memphis. He averaged 17.1 points and a career-high 12.5 rebounds per game. There is no reason to believe he shouldn't be able to continue succeeding in New Orleans. Obviously, the organization believes he will since they signed him to an extension before having Valanciunas play a regular season game.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
