3 years agoSan Antonio Spurs forward Keldon Johnson was effective on both ends of the floor in Friday's loss to Denver. Johnson scored a team-high 27 points on 66.7 percent shooting from the field, swiping three steals on the defensive end. He failed to knock down a three-pointer for the second straight game but added four rebounds and two assists while turning the ball over just once. Johnson seemed poised for a breakout campaign last year before he tested positive for the virus, though he still posted career-bests in scoring, rebounding, and assists. Johnson is one to watch in the next few games to see if the usage on offense holds.--Tim Capurso
