Giannis Antetokounmpo Misses A Triple-Double By One Assist
3 years agoMilwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo came very close to his first triple-double of the campaign on Monday, recording a game-high 30 points with 10 rebounds and nine assists in a 119-109 win at Indiana. He also picked up one steal with two blocks and two turnovers in 36 minutes on the floor, missing both of his attempts from deep but going a rock-solid 10-for-18 overall from the field and 10-for-13 at the charity stripe. The two-time MVP had an awful time with his free throws during last season's playoff but seems to have sorted himself out, nailing 72.5 percent of his attempts so far. Next up, Giannis is going to be challenged by an improved Minnesota team. The Timberwolves have had the league's most efficient defense early in the season. They are also 23rd in pace, so this is an ugly matchup for DFS managers.
