Andrew Wiggins Records New Season-High With 21 Points
3 years agoGolden State Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins hadn't cracked 17 points this season, but that changed on Tuesday in a 106-98 win over the Thunder. Wiggins saw 31 minutes and recorded a season-high 21 points with four rebounds, four assists, three steals, and a block. The 26-year old went 9-for-17 from the field but was 0-for-5 from three. It was the first time all game he didn't drain multiple deep balls, but he's still hitting 43.8 percent of his three-point attempts on the year. He averaged 19.4 and 18.6 points in his first two years with the Warriors, so this should be the start of Wiggins' slight bounce back in the scoring department. He'll look to continue it against the Grizzlies and Thunder (again) to wrap up Week 2.
