Richaun Holmes Comes Through With Season-Best Outing
3 years agoSacramento Kings center Richaun Holmes came through for fantasy managers at the end of Week 2 with a massive performance against the Dallas Mavericks. Despite losing 105-99, the big man set new season-highs in points, rebounds, steals, and field-goal attempts. Across 27 minutes, Holmes compiled 22 points on 9-for-15 shooting, with 13 rebounds, two steals, and a rarely made three-pointer. It was his fourth double-double in six games, and he's averaging 16.3 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game on the young season. The 28-year old has been a top-50 player for most of the last two campaigns, and he's starting another year on the right foot with this current batch of performances. The Kings play four games in Week 3, and the extra games will continue to bolster Holmes' early-season ranking in all formats.
