3 years agoPortland Trail Blazers guard/forward Norman Powell led the team with 22 points on 8-for-12 shooting in Monday's 113-103 loss to the Sixers. He went 1-for-3 from behind the arc and 5-for-5 at the charity stripe with one rebound and two turnovers in 29 minutes. Both Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum finished with 20 points. Powell is a good third scoring option for the Blazers and is averaging 15.6 points per game, but the team needs a bit more from him with Lillard having a rocky start to the year. Portland faces an improved Cavaliers defense next. Powell has yet to record back-to-back 20-point performances this season, so fantasy managers shouldn't get their hopes up for Wednesday's matchup.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
