3 years agoWashington Wizards small/power forward Kyle Kuzma (forearm) has been ruled out for the remainder of Wednesday's game against the Raptors due to a right forearm contusion. Kuzma has gotten off to a strong start to the 2021-22 campaign, entering the night averaging 15.9 points and 11 boards per contest. But prior to his departure, Kuzma went just 1-for-10 from the field overall, finishing with two points and two rebounds in 21 minutes. His absence figures to funnel more minutes primarily to Deni Avdija, who was already in line for an increased role with Davis Bertans (ankle) out for at least the next two games. Kuzma's next chance to return to action comes Friday vs. Memphis.--Jesse Borek
