D'Angelo Russell Will Miss Friday’s Game
3 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard D'Angelo Russell (ankle) has been ruled out for Friday's contest against the Clippers due to a sprained right ankle. The absence will be Russell's second in a row due to the ailment, which he sustained Monday. In his place, Patrick Beverley drew the start Wednesday and collected 10 points and 10 rebounds across 31 minutes. Additionally, the shot volume of Anthony Edwards and Malik Beasley stands to be elevated so long as Russell is out of the mix. The next opportunity that he will have to return to action comes Monday vs. Memphis.
