3 years agoOn Monday, the Miami Heat lost 113-96 to the Denver Nuggets, and box-score-searching eyes will quickly notice the giant goose egg next to Kyle Lowry in the points column. For the first time since Dec. 9, 2018, Lowry failed to score a point. In 37 minutes, the six-time All-Star was 0-for-8 from the floor and 0-for-6 from three. He did add four assists, three rebounds, a block, and a steal, but the zero points are startling nonetheless. Lowry came into tonight's game with at least 20 points in two of his last three, but this now marks his sixth outing of the year with less than 10 points through the season's first nine games. The 2019 Champion should bounce back, but he's not even a top-75 option in nine-category leagues at the moment, and managers could be forgiven for leaving him on the bench until the scoring becomes more consistent for the 35-year old.--Euan Leith
