3 years agoMemphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant, who managed only a total of 27 points across his previous two outings, was back in form on Monday, scoring a game-high 33 points in a 125-118 overtime win against Minnesota. He shot 10-for-24 from the field with a 10-for-12 mark at the line and nailed three treys on six attempts. Morant added six rebounds and eight assists to his line with one steal, one block and three turnovers in 41 minutes. The 22-year-old has looked fantastic early in the season and is well on his way to having a big campaign. He'll have an exciting battle with another young point guard in LaMelo Ball next. Charlotte's defensive efficiency has been one of the worst of the league, so Morant could be looking at another 30-point outing on Wednesday night. He's already got four of those in 10 appearances this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
