Trae Young Continues Three-Point Shooting Uptick
3 years agoIn a 110-98 loss to the Utah Jazz on Monday, Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young couldn't do enough to prevent his team from losing their fifth game in a row. In 35 minutes, Young scored 27 points on 10-for-21 shooting to accompany six assists, a steal, and five three-pointers. He went 5-for-11 from behind the three-point line and now has at least four triples in three straight games. Before this stretch, his season-high in three-pointers was two, so clearly, something in his approach is changing for the better. Young is still a top-30 player in nine-category leagues, but he can get back into the top-20 if his three-point shot continues to fall as it has over the last three games.
