3 years agoPortland Trail Blazers guard/forward Norman Powell continued his good scoring run with 23 points in 29 minutes in Wednesday's 119-109 loss to the Suns, shooting 8-for-17 from the field with a 3-for-8 success rate from downtown. His line included three rebounds, one assist and one steal with zero turnovers. Powell, who was 4-for-5 at the line against Phoenix, has now scored at least 20 points in five of his six appearances this month. He'll be in another nice scoring spot on Friday against the Rockets, who like to push the pace but can't defend very well.
