3 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards erupted for a career-high 48 points in Wednesday's loss to the Warriors. Edwards was on fire, as he drained 16 of 27 shot attempts and 7 of 13 threes while shooting 9-for-12 from the charity stripe. Per the team's Twitter account, Edwards is the fifth-youngest player in NBA history to drop 45-plus points- as the 20-year-old's second-year breakout continues. Edwards is on-pace for career-high numbers across the board while playing 36.9 minutes per contest, which ranks fourth in the NBA.--Tim Capurso
