3 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves guard D'Angelo Russell had a good revenge game against the Lakers on Friday, scoring 22 points on 8-for-19 shooting with five rebounds and seven assists in a nice 107-83 road win. He shot 5-for-9 from outside and bagged one steal while committing four turnovers in 34 minutes. Russell's shooting has been poor mostly this season but this was a good effort from him. It was also a great matchup for the 25-year-old, as stopping guards has been a problem for the Lakers all season. Russell will be in another favorable spot on Saturday against the Clippers, who own good defensive numbers in general but whose work against backcourts needs improving.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
