Minnesota Clears Naz Reid To Play In Wednesday’s Game
3 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Naz Reid (foot) has been given the green light to take the floor for Wednesday's contest against Sacramento. Reid rejoins the T-Wolves' second unit after a one-game absence, although his return isn't likely to affect Karl-Anthony Towns or Jarred Vanderbilt's DFS appeal significantly. Known for his instant scoring punch, the only thing keeping Reid from season-long relevance is his relatively light minutes allotment (15.8 per game). Traditionally, he can be passed over in cash play DFS lineups, but with the Kings' woes against opposing centers (third-most points allowed) at the forefront, the 22-year-old could be worth a roll of the dice at the eleventh hour.
