Kevin Porter Jr. Will Miss Wednesday’s Game
3 years agoHouston Rockets point guard Kevin Porter Jr. (thigh) has been deemed unavailable for Wednesday's contest against the Thunder due to a thigh injury. Veteran Eric Gordon will shift into the starting five in Porter's place, placing the primary ballhandling onus on rookie Jalen Green, who will see elevated DFS appeal alongside Gordon. With Wednesday's absence being Porter's first of the season, it will be an inexact science predicting how head coach Stephen Silas will adjust his rotation, but D.J. Augustin should see increased minutes off the bench as well. The next chance that the Rockets will get their third-leading scorer back comes Saturday vs. New York.
