Rudy Gay Likely To Make Season Debut Thursday
3 years agoUtah Jazz small/power forward Rudy Gay (heel) has been listed as probable to take the floor for Thursday's game against Toronto, which would mark both his season and team debut. Gay has shifted primarily into a reserve role over the past few seasons, but he has proven to still be an adept scorer when given minutes. The 35-year-old figures to slot into a second unit that already features Jordan Clarkson, Joe Ingles, and Hassan Whiteside, giving Utah even more impressive depth. Until head coach Quin Snyder acclimates Gay to the mix, the veteran is likely best left on the waiver wire in any-sized season-long format.
